An Online Teaching Design of Oral English against COVID-19: An “Ideological-and-Political-Theories-Education-in-All-Courses” Perspective

Under the outbreak of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and philosophy “Ideological Political Theories Education in all Courses (IPTEC)” by China’s Ministry Education, college curriculum reform has become a pressing issue both form content. Oral English course is characterized with flexible organization wide selection teaching materials, thus closely related to shaping students’ values. An online mode oral featuring “DingTalk + WeChat Group FiF” proposed after mining “ideological political elements”, sophomore School Foreign Studies, Guangzhou University Chinese Medicine as case. The highlights this are follows. First, links design permeated ideological elements, which realizes blending explicit implicit educations. Second, it supports teacher-to-student student-to-student voice interactions multi-party manner at any time. Third, complex created where one classroom systematically nested another among various platforms. Fourth, group single games enrich classroom. Fifth, provides private convenient homework management.
